I was born a ‘Highly Sensitive Person’, something my family and the school system in the 1950’s didn’t understand. In addition, since childhood, I’ve been able to feel the emotions and read the energy of others. This was challenging for a long time as I learned how to recognize what feelings were mine and what belonged to someone else. I had no wise mentor to guide me along to help me understand the confusion. I had strong spiritual connections that kept me safe from real harm, but my human journey was fraught with trial and error. I knew from a very young age that I was a spiritual healer. However growing up in New England in very conservative surroundings I found few pathways to my destiny.
In New England, in the ’70s I was exposed to the ‘self help’ era, which made me determined to figure things out for myself. In 1977 I took an extended vacation and drove across country to Washington State where I continued my slow and challenging voyage of trial and error regarding trust, healthy boundaries, communication and relationships. However, in the early ’80s I was starting to connect with people who intoduced me to the Complementary Healthcare field. This was something useful. I was learning simple tools that helped me learn more about connecting with and trusting myself, and to heal myself both physically and emotionally. I also learned how to use my natural abilities to facilitate healings for others.
Today my intention is to empower others to shift and clear dense emotional energy that is blocking their experience of connecting with their authentic selves. To help them resource their inner wisdom and engage with their soul path so they can enjoy the experience of purposefulness, better health, vitality and joy.
For continuing education, in addition to classes, I extensively research articles following the science including Dr. Mark Hyman, Functional Medicine, Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Joseph Campbell, and other evidence based science information.
